cal

cal(1) cal displays a simple calendar. If arguments are not specified, the current month is displayed.

% cal
      May 2006

For people living in country where the first day of the week is Monday cal is more friendly used with the -d 1 parameter that put Mondays in the first column.

$ cal -d 1

10 11 12 13 14 15 16
17 18 19 20 21 22 23
