headings
Hi,
you changed some headings on "my" pages from "=" to "==". Why did you do this? I generally prefer to have the top-level headings as "=", because I don't see a reason to type more than necessary. --Rillig 10:01, 12 April 2007 (CEST)
- In MediaWiki, "=" generates a H1 header, of which there logically should be only one to a page. This is why Wikipedia has the convention that the highest-level user-created heading should be "=="—they are not top-level headings. This is a sensible guideline, and given the size of Wikipedia a fair number of wiki editors will be familiar with it already as well. Your laziness doesn't seem like a good reason to buck conventions. ⇔ ChristTrekker 00:04, 14 April 2007 (CEST)
