I started using NetBSD with 1.5R (which was a -current snapshot at the time). I use it mostly for servers but also on my desktop development boxes. I track the latest stable netbsd-<version> branch on all my systems except for a laptop on which I track -current.

I also admin some Slackware and Debian Linux systems. My unix experience started with a version of System V distributed by Commodore for A3000 and later on with RedHat 6 on PC. I previously was an Amiga fan, and learned C at 16 years old on an A2000 with AmigaOS 2.04 (coding mostly voice modem, fidonet and BBS related software).

I maintain custom diffs to the NetBSD CVS repository but do not have commit access to the official repository.
