I have been using NetBSD for three years. Currently, five of my machines run the operating system. The ports used are macppc, i386, and amd64. I also look forward to installing the ports to sparc and dreamcast. In order for the sparc port to run, I need a new NVRAM chip. The machines is a SPARCstation IPC. For the Dreamcast, I need an ethernet adapter of some sort, probably the BBA.
I am also the author of the AntiRight Desktop Environment. This is an ongoing project, which currently has the goal of allowing easily defined GUI applications to be built quickly from shell scripts. My hope is that rapid development of the user interface of an application will help developers focus on the more essential core logic of their projects. AntiRight is available here.
Other than that, I am a high school senior, self-taught in C, C++, basic, and shell programming. My venture into programming began at the humble age of eight, with GW-BASIC on a second hand computer, made by Hyundai, of all companies. Continuing with my education, I will persue a Master's degree in computer science.
