Editing primer
Who can edit a page?
Anyone may edit a page, if you feel you have something to contribute feel free to add it to the wiki. You can read this page which gives tips on editing and creating wiki pages.
Please note: currently editing of articles by the general public is not allowed, because of spam issues. You will have to register before you can edit.
Editing and Adding Articles
You can edit Articles by pressing the "edit" Button on top of every Page. To use formatting Functions, please try the pictograms in the Editor.
If you would like to create a whole new article, please make sure that there is not a duplicate article about the same topic already. To do this, type in a few search terms in the search box in the menu on your left. If you search for a certain term and no page with that exact title exists, the search engine will provide a link which you can follow to create a new article under that name.
Alternatively, just enter the Article Name, at the end of the URL after index.php. If it does not exist yet, it will open in "edit mode" by default - for example: .../index.php/MyNewArticle
This will open an Editor, where you can edit and save your Article. After that you should link your Article from a Category, for example "Tutorials", so that everyone can read it.
If you wish to have Images in your Article, you have to upload them first. The Upload Button is in the toolbox. You need to be registered to upload Files. The registration is free.
